Taiwan will only be allowed to sell LED lights in 2025, aiming to save 35.1 billion KWH of electricity by 2030

According to reports, Taiwan economic 

authorities announced on September 21 2030 "energy conservation strategy" target,  2025 to eliminate the provincial light bulbs, all sales of LED lights, The energy consumption benchmark of air conditioners and refrigerators was raised from level 5 to level 3, and fixed frequency air conditioners were eliminated; 

For Industry and commerce, the electricity saving target for big consumers will be reduced from the current 1% per year, this rises to 1.2% to 2% depending on the industry, to save 35.1 billion kilowatt-hours by 2030.
Residential energy saving part, 2025 market light bulbs 100% for LED lights, Evaluate the extension of cargo tax rebate for high-efficiency home appliances, the  Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for air conditioners and refrigerators will be raised to level 3 from the current level 5 by 2030.
